1. Controller Audio Multimediale

Hi I have just installed windows 7 pro on my desktop I found the Lan Driver fine and have done all the windows updates But for the life of me I cannot find the drivers for Multimedia Audio Controller PCI Simple Communications Controller I know its an old motherboard but eh If anyone can point me anywhere that may help it would be greatly appreciated. I have tried the NT40 driver,sisvga357a,SMAXWDM,WDM3665,6305vistaWin7PG537,RealtekHDaudio6015350Vista - For the Audio with no joy apart from the realtek which fails during install and for the PCI I have downloaded Grid.hqx - haven't got a clue how to install!! (feeling dumb) I have trawled through the asus website and driverstock and many forums who all seem to say it is a problem on the asus drivers being out of date. Any help would be greatly appreciated Or should I just admit defeat and buy a soundcard?

Do you mean the audio driver? If you can find a vista driver, that should work if installed in compatability mode.

Download it, and then right-click on the file properties compatibility tick first box and chose vista in drop-down menu. Now you can run the installer program. Please let us know how you get on. Drivers I formatted my computer, which has an Asus motherboard, the P5S - SE, and i installed Windows 7 32. I have managed to install all the drivers except the Multimedia Audio Controller drivers. I searched the official site of Asus but it does not give any Win7 drivers. I tried the ones for Vista.
